Story 1: Baby Eagle in Hens Group – Listening to Your Wings – The Courage to Fly

It was a bright summer afternoon. The college campus was almost empty, with students leaving for their holidays. Jack and Jill, two close friends, decided to walk down to their favorite tea stall near the gate.
As they sipped their drinks, their casual talk slowly drifted into deeper thoughts.
Jack: (smiling) “So Jill, tell me… once you finish your exams next year, what’s the plan?”
Jill: (without hesitation) “Same as my brother, same as my father… get a job, marry, and settle in life.”
Jack: (raising an eyebrow) “That’s it? Do you know your real strengths? I mean… you’re amazing at painting. Why not take that up as your career?”
Jill: (laughs nervously) “Painting? Come on, Jack. You can’t make a living out of it. I’ve seen people in my town try… they never succeeded. It’s too risky.”
Jack paused for a moment, then leaned forward with a thoughtful look.
Jack: “You know, that reminds me of a story I read yesterday. Want to hear it?”
Jill: (curious) “Sure, go ahead.”
Jack: “In a small village, there was a hen farm. One day, without anyone noticing, a baby eagle wandered into the farm. It grew up among the hens, eating like them, pecking like them… never realizing it was different. It never thought of flying high.”
“One day, while looking at the sky, the eagle noticed another eagle soaring above. For the first time, it realized it looked just like that bird. Something inside whispered—‘I can fly too.’ So it started trying.”
“But the hens laughed. They told the eagle, ‘Don’t try to fly. None of us ever did. Our fathers, our grandfathers, nobody flew… so you also can’t.’”
“But the eagle didn’t listen. It believed in itself. And one day, it spread its wings, rose above the farm, and flew high into the open sky. It left the hens behind and began its own free life.”
Jack finished the story and looked at Jill with a smile.
Jack: “Our lives are the same, Jill. Society tells us what’s safe, what’s normal, what everyone else has done. But if you only listen to them, you’ll never discover your wings. Believe in yourself, don’t let others decide your limits. That’s the only way to truly succeed.”
Jill sat silently, his words echoing in her mind. For the first time, she wondered if she had been thinking too small… if maybe, just maybe, her paintings could be her wings.
Story 2: The Job and the Butterfly
Shiv was sitting in a small café in Hyderabad, staring blankly at his laptop screen. He had been preparing tirelessly for job interviews—updating his resume, practicing mock sessions, learning new skills. But despite all his efforts, no opportunity seemed to come his way. His heart felt heavy with disappointment.
That evening, he met his old friend Paru.
Paru: (smiling warmly) “Hey Shiv! Long time. You look so lost… what’s going on?”
Shiv: (sighs) “I don’t know, Paru. I’ve been giving my best, preparing day and night, applying everywhere… but nothing is working out. No interviews, no offers. It feels like I’m running in circles.”
Paru: (leaning forward) “I can see how hard you’re trying. Maybe, Shiv, you’re already doing everything right… but sometimes life just takes its own time. Why don’t you give yourself a break? Meet your family, hang out with friends, or even go for a short trip?”
Shiv: (confused) “A break? At this point? I feel like if I stop, I’ll fall even further behind.”
Paru: (smiling gently) “Let me tell you something. Do you remember that day when you went to the park and saw all those butterflies?”
Shiv: (nodding slowly) “Yeah, I do. I tried so hard to catch one, but they kept flying away.”
Paru: “Exactly. The more you chased, the further they went. But then, when you sat quietly under the tree, remember what happened?”
Shiv: (a faint smile) “One of the butterflies came and sat right on my shoulder.”
Paru: “That’s life, Shiv. Some things come to us only at the right time. No matter how much we want them earlier, they arrive when they’re truly meant for us. Your job is like that butterfly. Keep putting in your efforts, but don’t torture yourself over results. Trust the timing—when the moment is right, the opportunity will find you.”

Shiv sat in silence for a moment, Paru’s words sinking deep into his heart. A strange calmness washed over him. For the first time in months, he felt lighter.
Shiv: (smiling) “You’re right, Paru. Maybe I just need to breathe a little, trust the timing, and keep going.”
Paru: (patting his hand) “Exactly. The butterflies always find their way to you—when the time is right.”
Story 3 : Krishna and Balarama in the Forest – How Big is your problem?

It was a bright morning at school, and the classroom was filled with cheerful chatter. The walls were decorated with flutes, peacock feathers, and pictures of baby Krishna. It was Sri Krishna Janmashtami — a day of celebration, joy, and, best of all — no lessons!
Teacher Vijay Lakshmi walked into the class with a warm smile.
“Good morning, my little ones!” she said. “I see everyone smiling today — I wonder why?”
The children giggled.
“Because it’s Janmashtami, ma’am!” shouted a chorus of happy voices.
Teacher Vijay Lakshmi laughed, “Ah, I see! So no math, no grammar — only stories today, right?”
All the kids clapped and cheered.
Then, for a change, she said,
“Alright, my dear kids, today you tell me — what story would you like to hear?”
Everyone began whispering and suggesting — some said about Krishna stealing butter, some wanted the Kaliya story.
Then, one bright boy, Ram, raised his hand eagerly.
“Mam,” he said, “can you tell us a story about Krishna and Balarama — something that can help us face real-life challenges?”
Teacher Vijay Lakshmi smiled proudly.
“What a wise question, Ram! Yes, I have just the story for you.”
🌿 Story:
“One fine day in Dwaraka,” began the teacher, “Krishna and his elder brother Balarama decided to go for a walk in the nearby forest. The sun was shining, birds were singing, and both brothers were happily chatting.”
As they walked, suddenly a huge demon appeared out of nowhere! His eyes were red, his voice was thunder, and he shouted,
‘Who dares enter my forest? I will crush you both!’
The kids gasped.
“Oh no!” said one child. “What happened next, ma’am?”
Teacher Vijay Lakshmi continued, lowering her voice dramatically:
“Balarama was startled! He stepped back and whispered, ‘Krishna! He’s so big! What will we do now?’
But Krishna…” — teacher smiled — “Krishna just stood there, calm and smiling. Not even a blink of fear.”

Krishna looked at the demon, closed his eyes for a moment, and then opened them. To everyone’s surprise, Krishna appeared as a giant — far bigger and more powerful than the demon!
The demon looked at Krishna and trembled. In an instant, he disappeared — vanished like smoke!
Balarama sighed in relief. ‘Oh, Krishna!’ he said, ‘I was so scared! But you didn’t even flinch! How were you so calm when danger was right in front of us?’
Krishna laughed softly and said,
“Agraja — my dear elder brother, in my eyes, that demon looked very small. Everything depends on how we see things. If we think a problem is bigger than us, we get scared. But if we believe we are stronger — then no problem can defeat us.”
🌟 The Lesson
Teacher Vijay Lakshmi looked at her students with a gentle smile.
“So, my dear kids,” she said, “in life, you will all face challenges — big exams, tough situations, or moments when you feel afraid. But remember what Krishna told Balarama — it all depends on how you look at it! If you believe you’re strong and capable, the problem becomes small. And once it looks small, finding a solution becomes easy!”
The children nodded thoughtfully. Little Ram said,
“Mam, so the demon is like our fear — if we think we are brave, it disappears!”
Teacher Vijay Lakshmi clapped her hands.
“Exactly, Ram! That’s the spirit of Krishna!”
The bell rang, and as the kids packed their bags, they kept smiling and whispering,
“Problems are small… we are strong!”
And that Janmashtami afternoon, they went home with happy hearts — carrying not just sweets and songs, but also the wisdom of Krishna’s smile.
